Basic Workflow
In Photoshop:
• Reslolution/pixels per inch: 180ppi
recommended (Usually selected
in Image > Image Size in Photoshop) • In image size make it as
close to size as you can e.g. 6 x 9 inches then you can selct "scale
to fit media" in print with preview • Select custom profile
in print with preview • intent: perceptual • black point compensation: ticked
In Mitsubishi Print Driver: • colour matching: off • sharpness: 0 • super fine setting (for CP9550DW)
Common Errors:
• The print size in
Photoshop (Image > Image Size) needs to be the same as
the image size selected in the Mitsubishi Print Driver as
otherwise you will
get this error message: "Paper size of printer driver
and ink ribbon type do not match". If this message does
appear, you need to first clear this error from you system
via the control
panel. Then you will be able to ensure both paper and film
sizes are correct. You also need to make certain the roll light
is not on, on your printer. To switch this off, you may need
to turn your printer off.
