The Epson R1900 uses the new UltraChrome™ Hi-Gloss2 Ink and is capable of producing magnificent colour and black and white prints up to A3+. Using the Gloss Optimiser cartridge, it allows the user to produce gloss prints with minimal bronzing (something very rare for pigment inks). The Epson Stylus Photo R1900 has a new orange channel that replaces the blue ink previously used in the R1800. This orange channel allows significant enhancements in colour reproduction noticeably in skin tones. This printer prints onto Gloss, matte & fine art papers in cut sheets and 13" roll paper, it can also print directly onto CD's and DVD's.
